Rare 1,300-year-old coin featuring the face of an obscure Saxon king could sell for £15,000

Scientific tests confirmed that the coin - found in farmland in Coombe Bisset - was 95 per cent silver and 'completely consistent with coinage in the period 810-840 AD'.
